Clear Channel hosts Project Embrace press day

The Project Embrace press day, which took place at Clear Channel HQ in Central London, saw the minds behind the campaign share their motivation for being part of the project. Sponsors, as well as members of the team, shared the reasons for their involvement with the campaign: why Project Embrace appealed to them and and of course their various contributions. The attendess thus got an opportunity to hear directly from the team and sponsors of the project. Sky TV Presenter, Jacquline Shepard, hosted the event.

Trevor Robinson OBE, the founder of the creative agency, Quiet Storm, spoke about his motivation from a very personal standpoint, citing his children as his inspiration. His team created the campaign concept, and as well as artworking the posters for distribution.

Our art director, as well as the coordinator of the creative team, Nene, from VINE Creatives, shared how she got involved in the project after meeting Lekia and being inspired to be part of increasing the reach and execution of the creative aspect of the campaign. After meeting Lekia, she was inspired to be part of the team that improved the quality and reach of the campaign with social media marketing comms, the campaign's website and of course the photoshoot.

The sponsors that were present include TrendiPeople and Ybsm and Partners. For TrendiPeople, the appeal was in the uniqueness and idea behind the project. Ybsm and Partners, an accounting firm, through its representatives, commented that, although Project Embrace wasn't exactly their usual remit, they still got involved in it as the project's messaging and mission was well in line with their company values.

Guests included Diana and Terry Jarvis, Comedienne Donna Spence, Afua from the British BlackList and film maker Niaomi, founder of upcoming afro hair platform Lambb Official. Coach and MUA Ecrya Freemantle, as well as all the models from the photoshoot, also graced the event.

Special thanks to Clear Channel for having us!
